Nick Abnett is a personal development coach, a time mangement specialist, a speaker and a writer.
Nick was born in Melbourne, Australia in 1985. Moving with his family at the age of 4 to rural Queensland – he attended Griffith University on the Gold coast after graduating high school.
On completion of his Business Degree, Nick worked in numerous sales roles before deciding to move to the UK. It was here that he started to work at a direct marketing company and began to work his way up the ladder. After doing years of door to door and business to business sales, Nick moved into a teaching and training role, followed by managing a team of 10-15 people. It was here that he found his passion for helping people and also the organisational talent that would form the basis of this program.
Being responsible for the skills development and goal setting necessary to ensure the success of the team – Nick was able to mould the team into the best performing sales team in their division in the entire UK. A fire had been lit.
Moving back to the Gold Coast in 2014, Nick began to ponder on the idea of how to develop people in all facets of life – not just in a professional background. After over 10 years of dealing with people and teaching people within the sales industry combined with years of further research in time management, habit creation, routine building, goal setting, motivation and personal coaching – Own Time was born.
